This Privacy Policy sets out the commitment of Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. to its Customers regarding the protection of personal data, with the aim of strengthening and consolidating a relationship of trust and proximity. Through this Privacy Policy, Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. informs its Customers about the processing carried out with their data, as well as the rights that are recognised to them as data subjects.
Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. operates in strict compliance with the principles described in this policy, with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and with the applicable data protection legislation, in all activities of personal data processing under its responsibility. 3. What personal data do we use and for what purposes?
Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. undertakes to process only the personal data that are strictly necessary for each process.
By way of example:
a) Transaction management
Whenever you request that your tax identification number be included on your purchases, we need to record it and transmit it to the Tax Authority.
b) Direct marketing
We also need your contact details (email address and mobile phone number) in order to send you informative communications about news, campaigns and offers, discounts or benefits, whether general or targeted. You may withdraw your consent to receive this type of communication at any time.
c) Video surveillance (CCTV)
We have video surveillance systems installed to ensure your safety, as well as the security of the assets located at our premises.
4. How long do we keep your personal data?
We only keep your personal data for the period strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes identified above, within legal limits. Once the defined retention period has expired, Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. undertakes to delete, destroy or anonymise your personal data.
As a rule, Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda. keeps transaction data for a period of 10 years, which is the period established by law.

5. What are your rights and how can you exercise them?
Data subjects have the following rights:
a) Right of access and information: you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed by Irmach - Woodworking Technology, Lda., as well as the right to access those data and obtain information about their processing, including the purposes of the processing, the recipients or categories of recipients of the data and the respective retention periods. You also have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data undergoing processing.
b) Right to rectification: you have the right to request the rectification of personal data that are inaccurate, as well as the right to request that incomplete data be completed.
